I'm home from my Western Canada tour opening for William Joseph! I'm so sad that it was such a short run as I had the time of my life playing in the most beautiful venues to some lovely, enthusiastic audiences! Thank you to those who attended the shows, bought a CD, said hello and were just generally awesome. I was a bit nervous going out all on my lonesome but you made it so incredibly fun for me! Thanks also to William Joseph, his band and crew for being so sweet too! I'll post a more detailed blog on my adventure just as soon as I have time to go through the photos (and acquire some from others haha).

I'm back from my first ever tour across Canada! Had quite an adventure and will tell you all about it in a blog very soon! I've got lots of catching up to do before heading out on my solo tour with William Joseph out west in a week! Until then, there are a couple chances to catch me in Toronto! I'm performing a free acoustic set at Sunrise Records (336 Yonge St) on Saturday April 18th, 2:45 pm. Then the band and I will be performing at The Drake on Saturday, April 25th! BIG NEWS! I've just signed a recording contract with Bumstead and the album will be re-released on March 3rd in stores all across Canada as well as a deluxe version will be going up on iTunes!

If you pick up a copy of today's Globe & Mail you'll find a great review for "Never Just a Dream"! It's the "disc of the week" and they used one of my self portraits - yay! You can also read it online here. I truly have been overwhelmed by all of the good press I've been getting! It's one feeling to be satisfied by your own creation but it's quite another when other people let you know they're enjoying it too! I'm a pretty lucky girl and I try to appreciate the good things that have come my way as of late. In celebration of the arts, I signed up for a benefit concert happening this Thursday night @ The Supermarket. It's being put on by my lovely friend Nancy Lim for SKETCH which is truly a wonderful cause. Hope to see you there!

It's here!!! "Never Just a Dream" is officially up for sale in the store as well as on iTunes! Last night's album launch @ Revival completely floored me. I felt like just about the luckiest girl in the world - surrounded by my talented band on stage and performing for an incredibly warm audience, it was truly MY pleasure. If you're in Toronto you can pick up a copy of NOW Magazine to see a feature article they did about me to promote the CD. If you're from outside the city you can check out the story here! My song "That Sinking Feeling" was played today on CBC's "Metro Morning" and is expected to have a lot more play as it is delivered to all of the CBC stations. Keep your ear to the ground and soon you'll be able to call in and request songs on your favourite shows! Over the moon - see you soon - especially those in Montreal & Ottawa!
